Absolute awesome experience. Nothing bad to say about this restaurant at all. Order the chicken to start with, order the deluxe Mazeman dish after. Sit back, enjoy, and be prepared for the best nap of your life. …

My first and only time trying mazeman and I’m hooked. For newcomers it’s basically ramen but without the broth but def not lacking any flavor which comes from the spices, meat, and garlic. There’s just so many layers to the dish that change as you eat it. I like to try it on its own first then add togarashi then add vinegar. It completely compliments the dish without changing it. If it wasn’t on the west side I’d be here all the time.

Great variation on Japanese style noodles. Can get a little spicy (spicier than I thought), overall very delicious!

My fiance and I shared a deluxe bowl. It was amazing. The ingredients are so fresh, the noodles are the perfect amount of firmness, and everything tied perfectly in together. A lot of food for a great price, too! Don't forget to try the homemade vinegar.

Ordered the deluxe version of the Mogu Mogu ramen. It was very good. The noodles were very soft too. It has a rich combination of ingredients. Make sure to mix well too. As the end, the waiter gives a small cup of rice for you to mix along with the provided sauces. The whole experience was awesome!

I love this restaurant! The mazemen here is amazing! I get the Tokyo. The vinegar to change the flavor after you eat half works really well with the original flavor profile. The small cup of rice given at the end of the meal to scoop of the extra sauce is the cherry on top of this excellent meal. I would heavily recommend!!

Good spot for quick bite. Very well priced. Karaage (chicken) was great, and ramen was pretty good. Service was quick and pleasant. Recommend for casual weekday bites or to-go orders.

This place specializes in Mazemen, which is basically a dry ramen with a bunch of toppings in it. I love dry noodles in general because the noodles don't get soggy and stay firm and chewy thru the entire dish. I'm also a sucker for runny poached egg. So yea, this place is great! Will be coming back when I'm in the area! (On a completely unrelated note, I lost my prescription sunglasses here and was freaking out, but they totally kept it for me and was super helpful when I called back! Thank you!! ????)

As a Ramen lover, I think that mogumogu is top tier ramen restaurant in the U.S. I swear to god, I've had it over 30 times. This is so good and addictive.

We love going to Sawtelle and this is my favorite place to eat there. Actually it's pretty much my favorite ramen place overall and we've had lots of ramen. If you've never tried mazemen, you'll have to try it here. It's a bowl of umami goodness. We always try and come when they first open since it's a small place. I get the deluxe. It's plenty for one person. If you need more, try the karaage chicken. Service is quick too. You will lick your bowl clean!
